Weekend Club

Weekend Club meets 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of the month 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM 

Scholastic players (K-12th grade) have an opportunity to play chess against their friends in a low-competitive environment. Coach assistance is always given, and variants of chess may be played. Our philosophy is to emphasize sport and fun with chess. In doing so, we are setting the platform of supervised and spirited play. Each student is allowed to explore the game of chess with “hands on” practice!

  • Non-Member Drop In Fee $25

Who: We welcome any student with a basic or advanced knowledge of chess. The weekend club is ideal for any student; who is comfortable sitting through a 30 to 45 min lecture, eating pizza and having fun with chess
